During my summer internship at Rainscales, I had the exciting opportunity to dive deep into the world of AI and computer vision. My main project was to develop an AI model that could track and count workers, with a specific focus on identifying those who had undergone alcohol testing.
- Developed an AI model using cutting-edge technologies: YOLOv8 for object detection, ByteTrack for object tracking, and PyTorch as the underlying framework.
- Achieved an impressive 94.3% precision in detecting alcohol-tested workers, significantly improving workplace safety measures.
- Deployed the model on a Triton Inference Server, ensuring efficient and scalable inference in production environments.
- Built a user-friendly interface using Gradio, making it easy for non-technical staff to interact with the AI system.
- Containerized the entire application using Docker, streamlining deployment and ensuring consistency across different environments.
